Lazo Mohammed: “Golden Villas Won’t Save You”
Manchester – 26 June 2025
At a protest outside the Iraqi Consulate in Manchester, Dakok activist Lazo Mohammed delivered a searing message to the KDP and PUK leadership:
“Barzani and Talabani engineers of looting. A government of drugs, wine, and theft. Until when?”
Speaking on behalf of the Kurdish people, Lazo condemned the 60-day salary delays, accusing the ruling families of living in luxury while citizens starve.
“You act like lions at home, but like sheep abroad,” he said. “One day, not even your oil wells or villas will cry for you.”
The protest was part of a UK-wide demonstration held in seven major cities, demanding justice and dignity for the people of Kurdistan.
