Kurdish Community Protests Across UK Against Turkish Invasion
On July 21, 2024, Kurds in Manchester, London, Birmingham, Cardiff, and Glasgow staged demonstrations against Turkish military actions in Iraq’s Kurdistan region. The Dakok Organization spearheaded the events, uniting Kurdish families and activists in protest.
Activists from the Dakok Organization mobilized members and organized the crowd for the democratic protest. Kurdish families, men, women, and children expressed their anger over the Turkish invasion, with several participants sharing their thoughts and experiences with Kurdfile.
The synchronized protests across five major UK cities highlighted the unity and determination of the Kurdish community to stand against aggression and demand justice and peace for their homeland.
