The rulers in the Kurdistan Region are the main reason for the lack of freedom
Salar Wahid
Iraq, as a country full of religious and sectarian differences, has led to the formation of different political and religious groups and parties, as well as broad ethnic minorities. In this regard, the Kurdish people have never been deprived of this internal division, but they themselves have actively participated in this field, due to the existence of their own political groups, parties, militias and different ideas
However, above all the crisis and corruption that has swept over Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the lack of freedom of expression and at the same time, even the courts have not been exempt from this evil domination of these power gangsters
The courts have become partisan and have lost their sovereignty to the extent that freedom of expression does not pose any threat to the seat of power.
The continuous political, economic and financial crisis, low salaries, unemployment, high prices, diseases and fuel problems, water and electricity problems and lack of services, all different parts of life in the Kurdistan Region have been affected by silence, injustice and oppression. This has led to a waste of the country’s resources
The Kurdistan political scene has been like a master pond during the rule of the main political parties (PKK and PUK). However, this system of governance has not been a life-giving epidemic, but a deadly handshake for the hope of the lives of individuals in Kurdistan.
This current situation is not the result of a few days, but the accumulation of many years of prolonged economic and political situation, division and distrust, what is to blame today is the Iraqi government in general and the Kurdistan Regional Government in particular
