Interest in Being a Slave

Peshmerga fighters in the past, when they fought for land and homeland, always said: “Live short, live proud”. Meaning, it does not matter how many years you live; what matters is how honorably, truthfully, freely, and independently you live in that time. But the rulers of the PUK and the KDP have changed this phrase to: “Live long, live as a slave.”
Once, the Prophet of God was asked: “Who is the best person, and who is the worst?” He said: “The worst person is the one who lives a long life but does no good deeds. The best is the one who may live short but does righteous acts consistently.”
From this saying, we understand that life is not about length but about how one lives as a human. But for the KDP and PUK, their “voice and votes” are always loud. Yet their loud voices and repeated cries for slavery have turned this number of people into many.
The slaves have always been the mockery of society, submissive, and tools of the authorities. This corrupt authority has reduced the value of human existence to a piece of money, a loaf of bread, or a sheet of paper.
The slaves always enjoy living as slaves, because honor and freedom have no place in their culture. Imam Omar (may God be pleased with him) said: “You have turned people into slaves when their mothers bore them free.”
The rulers of the PUK and KDP, for a lowly piece of note, make slaves bow before them, even to the point of kissing their feet. It is not about how long or short you live but about living, even briefly, with pride and dignity.
